Redmond Competition

Jana Heinrichs: Before music starts, hold still (??), disc: leg needs to be pointing up towards ceiling, toss height consistency, point toes when kick marching, villains need clearer costumes (same color?), formations in silks colors, flags pointing straight up, outside of costuming she’s not getting anything Scooby-Doo, not a clear storyline, doesn’t understand why everyone is in different costumes, flags need to be very flat, kick marching = needs flat back + don’t lean forward, traffic in moving formations, toss height consistency and rotating at the same rate, bigger characterization, doesn’t like villains costumes cause they’re different colors

Cara Cinkar: took a bit long to get started (like five seconds, jesus), one dancer is a little off in the first song, only two dancers did parallel (not true, omfg), timing in CATM, not everyone is spinning at the same rate, everyone needs to release and catch at the same time, bring more showmanship into routine, doesn’t understand tainted love music choice, not a whole lot of story going on, doesn’t like how we just stand there in tainted love, more with bodies while flagging, release tosses at same time, bringing in more personality, timing, needs clearer characters for villains, tosses need the most work!, we need to tell a story, villains not so obvious, more interaction

Julie Lozier: not understanding villain costumes, alignment in formations, a lot of standing in one place, would like to see more moving around floor, doesn’t like tainted love song choice, “toss and turn” could be a toss, technique of feet while splitting, heathens we tend to stay in one place, doesn’t like music choice (then you pick our music, jfc), spacing is different from right to left, didn’t see how the music/choreography told a story, need to use backdrops more ig, pay attention to feet, need to move around on floor more
